Important to live peacefully & in a harmonious manner: Gavaskar

Muddenahalli, NT Bureau: Legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has underlined the importance of living peacefully and in a harmonious manner.

Speaking at a programme organised to give away Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence instituted by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence on Thursday to mark the 98tih birth anniversary of Sai Baba, he said Baba always advocated the principle of living together and his preaching are relevant even today when the entire world is facing conflicts.

If humankind can understand Baba’s preachings in right earnestness, the problems facing the world would be solved he opined.
