
Hubballi to Kottayam special trains to start this Saturday

Bengaluru: South Western Railway (SWR) has announced it will run two special weekly express trains between Hubballi and Kottayam city in Kerala for a total of 15 round trips, starting this Saturday.
The Hubballi to Kottayam Weekly Special Express will run eight trips. It will depart from Hubballi at 10:30 am on December 2 (Saturday) to January 20.
The services will be available every Saturday till January 20. The train will arrive in Kottayam at 8:15 am on Sundays. It will have stops at destinations like Davangere, Bengaluru, Salem, Palakkad and Thrissur.
In the return direction, the train will depart from Kottayam at 11:00 am every Sunday, starting this Sunday (December 3) to January 21. It will arrive in Hubballi at 09:50 am on Mondays.
The second special train Hubballi to Kottayam Weekly Special Express will run seven trips. It will depart Hubballi at 11 am every Tuesday, starting from December 5 and concluding on January 16.
It will arrive in Kottayam at 8:15 am on Wednesdays. In the return direction, the train will depart Kottayam at 11 am every Wednesday, starting December 6 and conclude services on January 17.
It will arrive in Hubballi at 9 : 5 0 am on Thursdays. Linen and bedroll will not be provided on these trains.
