Aspirants line up for Kolar LS seat

Kolar, NT Bureau: A senior Supreme Court advocate from Malur and six other leaders have reportedly emerged as aspirants for the Congress ticket for Kolar reserved parliamentary constituency Highly placed sources revealed that the seven Congress leaders had submitted applications to ministers Ramalinga Reddy and Byrathi Suresh to contest from Kolar.

The leaders include Mr Venkatachalapathi, advocate from Malur, Narayana Swamy from Malur, KV Gowtham, district Congress president, Munivenkatappa from Kolar and Muddu Gangadhar, KPCC secretary.

Minister KH Muniyappa, Dr Sudhakar Reddy, MLC Nazeer Ahmed and MLAs and MLCs were present during the meeting.
