
Assault on KRRS chief Badagalapura Nagendra condemned

Mysuru: Condemning the assault on Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene state unit chief Badagalapura Nagendra, members of the farming community in Mysuru on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the new Deputy Commissioner's office at Siddarthanagar on T Narasipura road in the city.
They demanded that the cops arrest farmer leader Krishnegowda, who was booked by the Mandya cops for assaulting Nagendra.
They alleged that Ingalguppe Krishnegowda was allegedly involved in various anti-social activities including abduction, cheating and dacoity and cases were booked against him at various police stations of Mysuru,Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts.
They claimed that Krishnegowda and his friends attacked and abused Badagalapura Nagendra when he questioned his immoral activities in Mandya district on Tuesday.
They condemned Krishnegowda for bringing a bad name to the Raitha Sangha movement by indulging in such activities. They said that Badagalapura Nagendra has written a letter to state home minister G Parameshwara seeking his externment from the state.
Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha district unit chief Hosakote Kumar, general secretary Hosakote Basavaraju, Mandya district unit chief Kempugowda, Prasannagagowda, Nethravathi and others were present during the protest.
