KIA customs seized gold from a Dubai passenger

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) seized 907 grams of gold from a passenger who had hidden the valuables in his clothes.

The officials said that the passenger had arrived from Dubai and was intercepted based on suspicion.

The gold was found hidden in the waistband of his trousers. The value of the seized gold is estimated at Rs 55 lakh. The passenger has been arrested.
