Man fatally stabbed for confronting beer bottle dumping near school

Ullal, NT Bureau: A 28-yearold, Varun Gatti, lost his life after being fatally stabbed by two men in Kolya near Ullal on Wednesday night.

The incident unfolded when Varun and his friend, Akshay, noticed Suraj and Raviraj drinking beer and discarding bottles in front of St Joseph’s Joyland School.

Varun, disturbed by this, questioned the duo, leading to a heated argument. Amid the confrontation, Varun was stabbed in the back with a sharp knife.

Despite his severe injuries, Varun managed to reach his nearby residence, and his family rushed him to a private hospital in Deralakatte. Unfortunately, Varun succumbed to his injuries.

Varun Gatti, employed as a car driver for the MUDA commissioner, lived with his parents, brothers, and sisters.
