Complaint filed against Chetan Kumar

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A complaint was filed against actor-turned-activist Chetan Kumar "Ahimsa" for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Kempegowda.

The complaint was registered by an advocate RLN Murthy with the Seshadripuram police station in Bengaluru.

Recently, Chetan Kumar had posted about Kempegowda and Tipu Sultan on X, stating that it is sad to see society giving more importance to the birth community than societal contributions.

The post by Kumar earned huge backlash from several BJP leaders including MLA Ashwath Narayan.

The advocate in his complaint alleged that the activist has insulted Kempegowda in his social media post.
