At least 22 hurt as private bus rolls over in Anekal

Bengaluru: At least two people sustained critical injuries while 20 others suffered minor injuries after a private passenger bus rolled off a road on a tank bund after the driver lost control of the wheel at Bidaraguppe in Anekal on the outskirts of the city on Saturday.

According to sources, the bus was carrying about 50 devotees from Chikka Bellandur to the Om Shakti (Adhiparasakthi) temple at Melmaruvathur in Tamil Nadu when the driver lost control on the Attibele-Sarjapur main road.

Several locals helped in shifting the injured passengers to a nearby hospital.
