Vijayapura: On a day when several museums across the country received threatening emails, the museum located in front of the renowned Gol Gumbaz also encountered a similar situation on Friday evening.

An ominous message warned of a potential explosion. The email, sent by someone using the name morgue999l0l, declared, "I have placed multiple explosives inside the Museum. The explosives are well-hidden and will detonate in the morning. Everyone inside will perish. We are a group called 'terrorizers111.' reveal our group's name to the media, or we won't cease causing chaos."

Upon receiving the email, the administrative office promptly alerted the police, who, in turn, deployed a bomb detection squad to inspect the premises on Friday evening thoroughly.

Fortunately, the investigation revealed the threat to be a hoax, ensuring the safety of the museum and its occupants.
