Accident claims 5 lives near Hubballi: 4injured under treatment at KIMS

Bengaluru: In a major accident on the highway at Belligatti village near Hubballi, Karnataka, five individuals from Bengaluru lost their lives.

The tragedy occurred when a truck ran over them. The four injured victims are currently undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital.

The victims had been standing on the roadside following a collision between their car and another vehicle.

As they stood outside their vehicle, a lorry crashed into them, resulting in the immediate death of four individuals at the scene.

The fifth victim succumbed to injuries at KIMS hospital in Hubballi.

The four deceased individuals who lost their lives on the spot were identified as Manikanta (26), Pavan (23), and Chandan (21), all travelling from Hassan to Goa. The fourth victim, was Harish Kumar (34),
