K V Rajendra appeals to unemployed students to make use of Yuva Nidhi scheme
Mysuru, NT Bureau: Mysuru Deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra on Friday urged unemployed students to make use of the Yuvanidhi unemployment allowance for their betterment as the state government launched this scheme to instill confidence in them besides focusing on improving their skills.
He was speaking after launching Yuva Nidhi scheme at a function at Maharani's Science College for Women in the city.
He said that unemployment allowance for two years will be given to students who have passed their degree/diploma in 2022-2023, under the scheme.
Unemployed graduates will get Rs 3,000 per month while diploma holders will receive Rs 1,500.
Training will also be provided by registering their names on the skill connect portal.
