Mallikarjun Kharge in K’taka on Jan 21

Shivamogga: All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge is all set to come down to Mangaluru on January 21 to take part in a rally.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar made the announcement in Shivamogga on the day the State government launched the Yuva Nidhi Yojane.

Under the scheme, unemployed youth get monthly allowances. Speaking to reporters after the event, Shivakumar said that AICC President and other leaders will participate in the party workers rally to be held in Mangaluru on Jan 21.

He called upon all party workers and leaders to attend the rally. Asked about candidates for the upcoming general elections, he said: “We have discussed it, we will give you information once it is finalised.”
