Bengaluru: A class 9 student who had reportedly gone missing from the city was traced and reunited with her parents in Jeevan Bhima Nagar.
The girl had left her house after informing her parents that she is going for tuition classes on Tuesday.
However, when she did not turn up until evening, the worried parents checked at her school and found that she had not attended the class that day.
Failing to get any clue regarding her whereabouts, the parents approached the jurisdictional police and filed a missing report.
Taking swift action, the police alerted the Railway Police Force (RPF) by sharing the photograph of the missing girl.
Luckily, by evening RPF personnel from Doddaballapura Railway Station achieved a breakthrough and found the girl within 15 hours. According to the police, the student had taken a random train to get away from her house.
Noticing that the girl did not have a ticket, a woman passenger in the train informed a ticket checking officer, who in turn alerted the RPF.
