Traffic cop returns missing suitcase containing valuables
NT Correspondent Bengaluru A traffic police constable manning a signal near Koramangala returned a suitcase containing valuables worth several lakhs to the owners who had accidentally left it at the footpath on Wednesday. The incident occured when a city-based couple, Praveen and Bhavani, alighted from a city bus near the Koramangala Water Tank signal. However, in a hurry, they forgot their suitcase on the footpath. HC Mallikarjuna, a traffic constable attached to Adugodi station noticed the suitcase. He decided to open it and found clothes and valuables along with several documents. Mallikarjuna checked the documents and found a contact number which he dialed. Luckily, the number belonged to a Kodagubased relative of Praveen, who further informed the couple.
