Bengaluru: Apple is strengthening its presence in India by inaugurating a new office at Minsk Square, Bengaluru, in addition to the two retail stores opened in Mumbai and Delhi in 2023.
This further extends Apple's corporate office footprint in India, which includes locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram.
The newly opened office spans 15 floors and can accommodate a workforce of up to 1,200 individuals.
It features dedicated lab spaces, collaborative areas, wellness facilities, and the renowned Caffe Macs.
Apple's teams in Bengaluru cover a broad spectrum of the company's business, encompassing software, hardware, services, IS&T, operations, customer support, and more.
In alignment with Apple's commitment to achieving a carbonneutral footprint for its corporate operations since 2020, the interior of the office is meticulously designed using locally sourced materials such as stone, wood, and fabric for walls and flooring.
The office is adorned with native plants, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally conscious workspace.
Since adopting 100% renewable energy in 2018, the new office operates entirely on renewable energy. Apple is also striving to attain a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, the highest level of LEED certification.
Expressing enthusiasm about the expansion in India, an Apple spokesperson stated, "Apple is thrilled to expand in India with our new office in the heart of Bengaluru. This dynamic city is already home to many of our talented teams, including software engineering and hardware technologies, operations, customer support, and more. Like everything we do at Apple, this workspace is created to foster innovation, creativity, and connection.
