K'taka schools urged to telecast Ram Lalla consecration live

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Karnataka Association of Associated Management of Primary and Secondary Schools (KAMS) has urged private schools in the state to organise live telecasts of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22.

Arguing against declaring a holiday on that day, KAMS Secretary Shashi Kumar emphasised that children should have the opportunity to witness this historic event.

He stated that KAMS has recommended private schools conduct a one-and-a-half-hour live broadcast of the consecration ceremony within their premises, utilising available facilities.

He emphasised the importance of keeping politics at bay and instead focus on the historical, cultural, and religious aspects associated with the ceremony.
