149 cases filed against students and parents by BTP

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: As cases of traffic violations by students and parents keep increasing in the city, the south division of the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has conducted a special drive outside schools and colleges.

149 such cases have been registered under the Motor Vehicles act of 1988 for violation of traffic rules.

Recently, videos of school going children riding vehicles without licenses in the city have gone viral on social media Schools and colleges have conducted awareness drives.

Steps have been taken to follow the appropriate legal procedures to prevent traffic rule violations.
