
CM to work 15 hours a day henceforth

Bengaluru, Dec. 28 Thanking Mudigere BJP MLA M.P. Kumaraswamy for his advice to take rest for his knee problem, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai asserted that he was as fit as a fiddle and will work for 15 hours daily in the coming days.
The MLA while talking to the media in Vidhana Soudha, had suggested that the CM take rest for 20 days for the bad knee and attend to all official work from home till the pain subsided. Till he recovers, Bommai should not be invited by any individual or organisations for any function, he felt.
Reacting in Hubballi, Bommai said he has the strength to work all 365 days. Henceforth, he would work for 15 hours a day. “I would like to convey my heart f e l t thanks to Kumaraswamy for his concern over my health. I will kickstart preparations for the 2023 Assembly polls from January 1, 2022”.
On skirmishes within the BJP over Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement that the party would go to the 2023 Assembly polls under Bommai’s leadership, the CM said he was thankful to Shah for reposing faith in him. The party has a tradition of going to polls under a collective leadership. “Since I am the CM, Shah had said the party will face the next Assembly polls under my leadership for better coordination between the party and government”.
It may be mentioned here that Bommai is experiencing severe knee pain and has been trying different modes of treatment He has been seen dragging his leg while walking.
