
CEE and EPAM collaborate for 'Trees For Tomorrow' plantation

Bengaluru: The Centre for Environment Education (CEE) in Ahmedabad, a leading environmental education organisation in India, joined forces with EPAM, a global digital platform engineering and software development services provider, to spearhead the "Trees for Tomorrow" tree plantation program.
This initiative aimed to counteract the impacts of climate change and set an ambitious goal of planting 6000 saplings across EPAM office locations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Pune.
The program executed, strategically planted diverse trees, herbs, and shrubs in each location to address specific environmental concerns.
Events unfolded across the designated locations, starting in Pune followed by Bengaluru and Hyderabad on June 17, 2023.
Subsequent events were held in Chennai on July 1, 2023, and in Gurgaon on August 19, 2023.
Beyond the successful completion of the tree plantation initiative, noteworthy is the enthusiastic participation from within the EPAM community.
Approximately 200 EPAM employees, along with their family members, actively engaged in the events, showcasing a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.
