Bengaluru: On March 12 and 13, the Sri Renuka Yallamma Devi Karaga Mahostav, an event held once every 10 years, will draw around 10 thousand people, including political leaders, from surrounding villages to the Hongasandra Beguru main road within the jurisdiction of the Madivala Traffic Police station.
The festivities will start on Tuesday at 5:00 pm commencing from the Hongasandra Anjaneya Temple to Adarsha School.
During this time, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for a smooth flow of traffic.
Traffic headed towards Beguru from Kodichikkanahalli Junction via Hongasandra Main Road will be temporarily blocked at Kodichikkanahalli Junction, rerouting vehicles towards D Mart on Devarachikkanahalli Main Road.
Simultaneously, traffic bound for Kodichikkanahalli Junction on the Beguru Main Road will face a diversion at the PK Kalyana Mantapa crossroad under the Hulimavu Traffic Police Station, redirecting them through the inner roads of Beguru.
Considering these traffic disruptions from 5:00 pm on March 12 to 3:00 pm on March 13, alternative routes are advised.
Vehicles heading towards Begur from Bommanahalli Junction on Hosur Main Road can directly reach Kudlu Gate and turn right to access Begur Main Road.
Those travelling from Bommanahalli Junction towards Devarachikkanahalli and Begur should take a right turn at Kodichikkanahalli Junction and proceed through D Mart Junction.
Meanwhile, vehicles from Begur towards Kodichikkanahalli can turn left near PK Kalyana Mantapa cross under Hulimavu Traffic Police Station, navigating the internal roads of Begur to reach Kodichikkanahalli and eventually proceeding towards Bommanahalli Junction via Kodichikkanahalli Junction.
These diversions and instructions aim to facilitate smooth traffic flow during the event.
