MP Pratap Simha upset with his party leaders?
Mysuru, NT Bureau: With doubts being expressed over Mysuru-Kodagu BJP MP Pratap Simha's candidature for the seat, the MP on Tuesday expressed his anger against his own party leaders for the ongoing speculation Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, Simha said he would welcome Mysuru royal family scion Yaduveer Wadiyar whose name is doing the rounds for the seat, if he contests the Lok Sabha elections.
I welcome it if he is ready to come out of Mysuru Palace and mingle with the people as a people's representative, fight against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and other political opponents and serve the people of his constituency,'' he remarked.
Simha also said he was the only leader who had faced up to Siddaramaiah.
He claimed that his contribution to Hindutva was more than that of the 25 other BJP MPs in the state. Simha felt Mysuru royal family members who had filed suits in various courts to safeguard their properties spread across the city, must come out to help people.
During a meeting with BJP workers, he said he will not run away from Mysuru but will fight alongside party workers.
He added that the party should promote leaders who work for its interests.
