Couple thrashed over car parking row

Bengaluru: A couple was thrashed and abused by a family in the city for allegedly parking their car outside the family's house in Doddanekundi.

A video of the incident is going viral, which shows the family thrashing and abusing the couple for having parked in the open space opposite their house of the victims hailed from Belagavi and had recently shifted to Bengaluru.

Several netizens who watched the video clip shared by a journalist, Anagha Deshpande, demanded action against those who attacked the couple.

The jurisdictional Police have registered an FIR and the accused, identified as Anandmurthy, his wife and his brother Prasad, were arrested. However they were later granted station bail by the HAL Police and were released.
