Shah invokes Hanuman to attack BJP rivals in UP

‘No ‘Bahubalis’ (musclemen) under Yogi govt, only Bajrang Bali’

Moradabad/Aligarh/Unnao: Union Home Minister AmitShah Thursday coined new acronymsand invoked Lord Hanumanto attack the Samajwadi Party andother BJP rivals in the poll-boundUttar Pradesh.

Addressing a rally at Aligarh,he praised the Yogi Adityanath government saying no ‘Bahubalis’(musclemen) are visible under hisregime, but there is just ‘BajrangBali’. “The People of Uttar Pradeshdo not need the ‘nizam’ (system) of Bua, Babua and Bahan (apparentlyreferring to BSP supremo Mayawati,SP chief Akhilesh Yadavand Congress general secretaryPriyanka Gandhi Vadra),” he said.

“In the ‘nizam’ of Bua-Babua-Bahan, N stands for Naseemuddin(Siddiqui), I stands for ImranMasood, ZA stands for Azam Khanand M stands for Mukhtar Ansari,”he explained. “Their ‘nizam’ isa symbol of corruption, crime andhooliganism.

”Naseemuddin Siddiqui switchedover to the Congress after the BSPexpelled him for anti-party activities.Imran Masood is a Congressleader, while SP leader Azam Khanis in jail facing multiple cases.Mafia-turned-politician MukhtarAnsari is a BSP MLA from Mau assemblyconstituency.

Addressing the BJP’s Jan VishwasYatra, Shah further said, “TheSP, BSP and the Congress have givena new LAB to Uttar Pradesh. Itmeans Loot, Aatankvaad (terrorism)and Bhrashtachar (corruption).These parties have lootedthe state and have worked to fillthe sacs of perfume traders.

”He said the previous SP governmentwas identified with three Ps--Parivarvad (dynastic politics), ‘Pakshpat’ (bias) and ‘Palayan’(exodus). In contrast, the identityof the BJP is 3Vs -- ‘Vikas’ (development),‘Vyapar’ (trade) and ‘SanskritikVirasat’ (cultural heritage).

Shah alleged that the generalpublic, especially “our daughtersand sisters” were harassed by‘bahubali’ during the Samajwadi Party government in the state.“The land was grabbed. But todayin the regime of Yogi Adityanath,‘baahubalis’ (musclemen) are notvisible, but only ‘Bajrang Bali’could be seen.

”He also said the late BJP leaderKalyan Singh, who was the chiefminister when the Babri Mosquewas demolished in 1992, had shownwhat “good governance” is. “Babuji(as Singh was called by hissupporters) sacrificed his chairfor Ram Janmabhoomi.”

“Today cash in crores have been recovered. Rs 250 crore cash was recovered from a perfume manufacturer(in Kanpur and Kannauj),but Akhilesh Yadav is feeling thepain. Why are you having a stomachache when the government isunearthing tax evasion? Tax evasionwill not be allowed in the BJPgovernment,” he said.

The Finance Ministry had onMonday said the recent raid onperfume trader Peeyush Jain’shouse in Kanpur, from where morethan Rs 177 crore unaccountedcash was unearthed, was the “biggestever seizure of cash” by anenforcement agency.

Shah also said that in thedouble-engine government (BJPregimes at the Centre and inthe state), those who had forcedexodus of people, are themselvesmaking an exodus. “Even if theBua-Babua-Bahan come togetherin UP, the BJP workers will not allowthem to succeed. Bahanji is yetto come out of cold (Bahanji kee to thand hi utar nahi rahi hai). Electionsare round the corner, and shehas not come out for campaigning.It seems that she is already afraid,”Shah asserted. —PTI
