Chamarajanagar district admin sets up 13 checkposts

Mysuru: With the model code of conduct coming into effect following the announcement of Lok Sabha polls, the Chamarajanagar district administration which shares an interstate border with Kerala and Tamil Nadu, has set up 13 check-posts across the district.
It intensified the screening at all its checkposts from Tuesday to prevent unauthorized movement of inducements such as cash, liquor, freebies and drugs ahead of parliamentary polls scheduled on April 26 in Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituency.
The check-posts have been set up at Palar, Naalroad and Ardhanaripura in Hanur, Bandi Gowdanahalli, Punajanur and Mudalahosahalli in Chamarajanagar.
