
HDK meets Vishwanath, seeks his support
Mysuru, NT Bureau: Former chief minister and Mandya Janata Dal Secular candidate H D Kumarswamy on Saturday met former minister and MLC A H Vishwanath at his residence at K R Nagar on Saturday.
As K R Nagar assembly segment comes under Mandya parliamentary constituency, He sought Vishwanath to extend his support to him during this election.
He was accompanied by JD(S) state core committee president G T Devegowda, former minister S R Mahesh, C S Puttaraju, Bandeppa Kashempur and others.
Speaking to reporters H D Kumarswamy expressed his gratitude to Vishwanath who maintained a distance from him following the fall of coalition government for extending his support to him.
He also attacked state cooperation minister K N Rajanna for criticizing former PM H D Devegowda on his dynastic politics.
K N Rajanna should not forget that he began his political journey being with H D Devegowda. He also predicted that state government will fall by its mistakes after Lok Sabha polls.
In his address, A H Vishwanath said that he too one of Congress ticket aspirant along with Yathindra Siddaramaiah for Mysuru constituency but the party has given a ticket to M Laxman.
Expressing his support to Yaduveer and H D Kumarswamy, he said that Congress leaders has no moral right including CM Siddaramaiah to criticize H D Devegowda.
