Man ends life by jumping off Nayandahalli flyover

Bengaluru: A 30-year-old contractual employee of the Karnataka Vidhyuth Karkhane (KAVIKA) committed suicide by jumping off the Nayandahalli flyover on Friday morning.
According to the sources, the man parked his twowheeler on the flyover and jumped down to his death.
It was learnt that the deceased, Naveen Kumar, was a resident of Jnanabharathi and had joined KAVIKA a few months ago.
He got married recently. A personnel attached to the Byatarayanapura Traffic Police who was on-duty at the junction, called in an ambulance and reported the matter to the Law and Order Police.
The police inspected the body and the spot before sending the body for the post-mortem analysis. The police said that Kumar left his home on Friday morning stating that he was heading for work and ended his life around 8:10 am.
It is said that Kumar was struggling with personal issues and had allegedly consumed drugs before the tragic incident.
The motive for the act was not immediately known, the police said. Further investigation is underway.
