Schools in K'taka to resume classes from May 29

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Karnataka School Education Department has announced that schools following the state curriculum will resume classes from May 29, 2024.

The annual academic schedule for the year 2024- 2025 includes two terms. The first term classes will be held from May 29 to October 2, 2024, while the second term classes will be held from October 21 to April 10, 2025.

The schedule also includes Dussehra vacation from October 3 to 20, 2024, and Summer vacation from April 11 to May 28, 2025.

The academic year will consist of 244 school duty days, with 26 days allocated for examination evaluation, 24 days for extra-curricular activities, 10 days for evaluation.
