Another biker loses life while overspeeding

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A day after a 22-year-old biker died after crashing into a road divider in Kengeri, another youth lost his life when his speeding bike rammed into a compound wall in Chikkabanavara Traffic Police Station limits.

The deceased was identified as Darshan, 21, a native of Byatha village in Bengaluru North.

The police said that the incident took place around 7:30 pm on Saturday when Darshan was riding his bike on Hesaraghatta Main Road near Jyothi Vidya School.

While speeding, the youth allegedly lost control of the bike and crashed into a tree first and then to a compound wall. Due to the impact, Darshan suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.

The traffic police registered a case regarding the accident. Despite awareness and strict monitoring, youths engage in overspeeding the vehicles putting their lives at stake.
