BWSSB promises action on JP Nagar water woes

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) assured on Monday to address the water issues faced by residents of JP Nagar 8th Phase apartments.

Recently, approximately 100 residents of Royal Lake Front Residency pledged to boycott the Lok Sabha Polls on April 26th, alleging that BWSSB's Cauvery water supply was inadequate.

They accused the Water Board of favoritism despite paying substantial sums for supply.

In a meeting with officials, Chairman Ram Prasath Manohar promised action upon payment for a Treatment Plant fee.

Manohar clarified that pipeline installation responsibility lay with layout builders.

Following Cauvery Stage V implementation, pipeline installation is at the state government's discretion on a pro rata cost basis.
