Health Dept issues preparedness for polls

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in Bengaluru on April 26th, the state Health Department issued a notification on preparedness amidst increased temperatures during April, recently.

In addition, The city also saw a feared outbreak of cholera, as students suffered symptoms reportedly.

Medical kits that include gauze kits (4x4 inches), bandages, wound clearing agents must be installed in every polling station, in addition to masks and sanitizers.

In view of the extreme heat, Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) will be supplied to polling parties and other voters, if needed.

Presence Ambulances and emergency services and preparedness of Health Care Facilities (HCF) is also notified.
