Dry days announced for LS Polls

Bengaluru, NT bureau: In order to maintain law and order and avoid untoward situations, The Bengaluru Police on Tuesday issued a directive banning the use, sale and storage of liquor, and narcotics in any kinds of wholesale or retail outlets, on the following dates: From 6.00 pm on April 24 to Midnight on April 26, the day of polling.

Ban on liquor is imposed midnight on June 3 to June 4, the day of counting.

The city police commissionerate has ordered the closure of liquor shops, wine shops, and bars. However, there is no restriction on serving food.
