Body of a woman and her 8-yr-old son found in a sump

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In a mysterious case, the Yelahanka New Town Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her eight-year-old son from inside a sump of an apartment complex on Thursday, sources from the police said.

The police identified the woman as Kavitha, 40, and her son as Pavan.

So far the police could not determine whether it was a murder, suicide or the mother-son fell into the sump by accident.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.
