Health Minister confident of Congress's electoral prospects

Bengaluru: Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao, accompanied by his family, voted and voiced optimism regarding the Congress's electoral prospects.
He anticipated the party securing 18 to 20 seats on Friday, citing Congress's robust presence in challenging constituencies and the BJP's diminishing influence in coastal areas.
Gundurao specifically mentioned Congress's victory in Dakshina Kannada and aid conditions favourable in Udupi. Praising Congress's competitiveness in Bangalore Central and Bangalore South, Gundurao also criticised Prime Minister Modi's narrative of societal unity.
He emphasised the significance of highlighting governmental accomplishments and attributed the growing support for Congress to various state initiatives, noting increasing backing from the public.
