Namma Dinesh scores ton on home pitch

Karnataka beat Uttar Pradesh by 68 runs in Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2021-22 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Thanks to Vrinda Dinesh great innings in which she smacked 12 fours and elegantly converted one into two. Uttar Pradesh’s Muskan Malik’s impressive 105 went in vain as Karnataka bowlers pulled off a great win and kept the pressure throughout the innings.

Bengaluru’s Veda Krishnamurthy’s cameo helped Karnataka cross the 300-run mark. UP batters felt the press of the scorecard and were unable to match up to the asking rate. A quickfire 51 scored from 34 balls by UP’s Nishu Choudhary didn’t help because of the slow start of their innings.
