KIA receives bomb threat on its feedback mail

NT Bureau, Bengaluru: An FIR was registered against an unidentified person for allegedly sending a bomb threat mail to the feedback mail ID of the Kempegowda International Airport in the city.

According to the police, the mail was received on April 29 claiming that bombs had been planted in the premises and will explode in a few hours.

The Kempegowda Airport police conducted an elaborate security check along with the squads before it was concluded the threat was a hoax.

Based on a complaint filed by a manager, the police have booked a person, who in his mail, claimed to be from a terrorist group.

Meanwhile the airport police have found the IP address of the sender and have been tracking the accused.
