Married woman killed by her paramour over suspicion of affair

Bengaluru: A woman was stabbed to death by her paramour after he suspected her of being involved in an affair.

The deceased was identified as Vidya, 30, a resident of Hosadoddi in Magadi. The incident took place around 9:30 pm on Tuesday in Kamakshipalya Police Station limits.

Following an inspection, the police said that the woman was already married and had two children.

However, she later fell in love with the accused, identified as Shantha Kumar, and started living with him in Kamakshipalya in Bengaluru. Vidya started working in a garment factory while Kumar worked in a private company.

A few months later, their relationship turned sour as Kumar started suspecting Vidya of being in a relationship.

On Tuesday night, Shantha Kumar allegedly called Vidya to his house in Kamakshipalya and stabbed her to death.
