Tax default: Mantri Mall seized by BBMP

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials once again descended on Mantri Mall on Friday, locking its doors and suspending its trade license citing substantial tax arrears.

While this isn't the first time the mall has faced such action, it marks a significant escalation in the ongoing battle between the city corporation and the mall management over taxes due amounting to about Rs 50 crore.
