Drunken men smash friend's head with stone during brawl

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A body of a young man was found with his head crushed with a stone in Yelahanka New Town Police Station limits on Friday night. The police identified the deceased as Gajendra Singh, a native of Nepal.

It was learnt that he had been employed at a hotel in Yelahanka for the past three years. Speaking to News Trail, an official from the jurisdictional police station said that the incident took place on Friday night when Singh had gone out with his friends after his work.

The friends had been to a local bar where they got completely drunk. Later the friends engaged into a verbal argument over a petty issue.

As the argument turned violent, one of the friends pushed Singh to the ground and crushed his head with heavy stone.

Singh died on the spot following which the friends fled the spot, the police said. A case has been registered and the police are on the lookout for the accused.
