KCET UG results imminent; KEA updates on DCET exam mode change

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) results are set to be announced soon by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their results from the official websites – kea.kar. nic.in and karresults.nic. in – once they are available.

The CET Entrance Exam for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses was held on April 18 and 19. In other updates from KEA, the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) will be conducted offline this year, contrary to the previous notice indicating it would be held online.

A statement reads, “Due to various reasons, DCET2024 will be conducted in offline mode using the OMR answer sheet method, as in previous years.”

The notice further advises, “Candidates who have selected exam locations other than Bagalkot, Ballari, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Davangere, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Udupi, Mysuru, Shivamogga, Tumakuru, and Vijayapura are requested to select one of these districts as they are the only ones with exam. If a candidate has chosen one of the above districts, no action is required.”
