JD(S) suspends local woman leader
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: JD(S) leader from Mahalakshmi Layout in Bengaluru Yashoda Rajanna was suspended from the outfit’s primary membership on Tuesday for “anti-party activities.”
JD(S) Bengaluru unit president and MLC HM Ramesh Gowda issued the order for the same, reasoning that Yashoda had been issued a show-cause notice for her activities earlier but she persisted, leaving the party no choice but to oust her.
“Yashoda Rajanna has been relentlessly engaged in anti-party activities for the past few days. She had been issued warnings over this several times. However, she continued with said activities in defiance of the party,” Gowda said, adding that party leaders from Mahalakshmi Layout had complained about this to JD (S) national president HD Deve Gowda and state president HD Kumaraswamy.
“In this context, an order has been issued to suspend Yashoda Rajanna from the party with immediate effect,” Gowda added.
