Husband eats extra egg; woman jumps to death

Bengaluru, NT Bureau:  n a tragic incident, a 32-year-old woman ended her life by jumping from the third floor of the building over a trivial row after the husband ate an extra egg while they were having dinner.

The incident took place in Madanayakanahalli and the deceased woman was identified as Pooja while her husband was identified as Anil Kumar. The couple hailed from Uttar Pradesh and had been living in the city for the last two years along with two minor children.

According to sources, the couple were often found quarrelling over petty issues. On Friday after returning from work Pooja prepared dinner while Anil Kumar ate two out of three eggs from the curry she had made.

A heated argument ensued when Pooja questioned Anil’s behaviour for which Anil allegedly told her that he is the owner of he house and should have a major share.
