New Cong MP Bose promises to strive for development of Mysuru, Chamarajanagar
Mysuru, NT Bureau: Newly elected Cong ress MP from Chamarajanagar Sunil Bose on Wednesday said he would strive hard to fulfil the promises he made to people during his election campaign besides working for the overall development of MysuruChamarajanagar districts.
Speaking after being felicitated by the Mysuru District Congress Committee, Bose thanked all those who elected him with a huge margin of nearly 1.88 lakh votes. He received leads in all eight assembly segments of Chamarajanagar.
He also expressed his gratitude to Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of the CM, for securing him a ticket to contest from Chamarajanagar.
Yathindra who spoke on the occasion, said the INDIA bloc parties fared better during this election despite the misuse of official machinery and the muzzling of opposition voices by PM Narendra Modi besides the misuse of Central agencies like the Income Tax department and Enforcement Directorate.
The Congress will introspect over the defeat in constituencies like Mysuru, he added.
