NEET UG: Kalyan, Joseph, Kishore & Amina score AIR 1
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate were announced on June 4.
Sixty-seven candidates have secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in India’s largest medical entrance exam. In Karnataka, Kalyan V emerged as the topper from the General category with a percentile score of 99.997129.
Sam Shreyas Joseph and Arjun Kishore, also from the General category, achieved the same percentile and shared the AIR 1 position. From Maharashtra, Anima Arif Kadiwala, an Urdu medium student, also achieved AIR 1.
Initially struggling with English, she overcame this challenge through persistent effort and eventually mastered the language.
Rajasthan has the highest number of toppers this year, with 11 candidates securing Rank 1 in the NEET UG results. This year’s exam saw a record registration of 2,406,079 candidates.
Of these, 2,333,297 (96.9 per cent) appeared for the exam, and 1,316,268 (56.4 per cent) qualified.
