Wife goes missing after tiff over WhatsApp greeting

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A woman went missing from her house allegedly after an argument with her husband over a petty issue related to a message on WhatsApp. A resident of Mico Layout filed a missing report with the jurisdictional police after his wife “mysteriously” went missing from their house here.

As per the complaint, the couple used to live happily with their children until recently when the husband noticed a WhatsApp message saying “Good Morning Dear” that his wife had allegedly sent to one of her male friends.

Questioning this, the man allegedly asked his wife to use 'sir' or 'brother' while texting her male friends. Following an argument over this, the couple later reconciled.

However the same day after noon, the woman went missing from her house and as per the complaint, she even switched off her mobile phone.

After searching for her at all possible places, the man sought help from the Mahalakshmi police.
