Trains to skip Bengaluru Cant from Sept 20 for 92 days

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: South Western Railway has announced that several trains will bypass the Bengaluru Cantonment station due to the temporary suspension of platforms No. 2 and 3 for redevelopment.

This adjustment will last for 92 days, from September 20, 2024, to December 20, 2024. Affected trains include Train No. 22135 Mysuru – Renigunta Weekly Superfast Express, which will skip the station on Fridays, and Train No. 12578 Mysuru – Darbhanga Bagmati Weekly Express, also not stopping on Fridays.

Daily services like Train No. 12028 KSR Bengaluru – Chennai Shatabdi Express (except Tuesdays), Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Express, Train No. 12608 KSR Bengaluru – Chennai Lalbagh Express, Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVT Bengaluru Express, Train No. 12610 Mysuru – Chennai Superfast Express, Train No. 06551 KSR Bengaluru – Jolarpettai MEMU Passenger Special, Train No. 22626 KSR Bengaluru – Chennai Double Decker Express, Train No. 12640 SMVT Bengaluru – Chennai Brindavan Express, and Train No. 11014 Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Express will also bypass Bengaluru Cantonment station daily during this period.
