Five IAS officers given new posting

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: As many as five Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers were given fresh assignments by the Karnataka government here onSaturday. One of them was transferred. Another was given additional charge while three others with no charge were posted.

Anil Kumar TK who had been the Principal Secretary to Health and Family Welfare Department was shifted to Medical Education under the same post in the same department, Bengaluru relieving Mohammad Mohsin.

Meanwhile, Harsh Gupta, who was without charge was made the Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department. Vipul Bansal, who had held no post was made the new Secretary to Commerce and Industries Department (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Mines), which had been vacant due to the retirement of Dr Richard Vincent D'souza on June 30.

Ramandeep Chowdhary, also without charge, was posted as Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology Department, relieving Dr Prakash GC from additional charge.
