Woman slips into coma after falling from house terrace

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old woman was left in a coma after she accidentally fell from the terrace of her residential building in DJ Halli Police Station limits on Friday.

The incident is said to have taken place in the afternoon when the woman along with her husband was on the terrace.

It is alleged that the woman slipped on a soap with which she was washing clothes and was about to fall off, when she grabbed onto the parapet of the terrace. As the horrified husband was attempting to pull her up, the woman lost her grip and fell down.

With the help of neighbours and several local residents, the woman was immediately rushed to Victoria Hospital where she is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Sources informed that the woman has gone into a coma. The police are probing the matter.
