Renukaswamy murder: Police analyse call data
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Intensifying the probe in the Renukaswamy muder case, the investigating officers in Bengaluru are said to have collected 139 pieces of evidence.
Further the police have also started checking the Call Data Record (CDR) details from the mobile phones confiscated from the arrested accused.
The Vijayanagar SubDivision police, who arrested the accused in this case and had kept them in custody for over 12 days, conducted interrogation and also searched several places confiscating hundreds of pieces of evidence that would help in the investigation.
The police said that the mobile phones seized from all the accused including Darshan have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for data retrieval.
The police, however, have not been able to trace the missing mobile phones of the deceased Renukaswamy and one of the accused Raghavendra, which are said to have been thrown into the storm water drain from where Renukaswamy's body was recovered.
Meanwhile sources from the police said the investigating cops have obtained the replaced SIM cards to get the messages and call records of both Renukaswamy and Raghavendra.
Currently all the 17 accused including actor Darshan Thogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda have been remanded to judicial custody as further investigation is underway
