Three minor girls missing from city, cops seek help

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In separate incidents, three teenage girls have gone missing from their houses in the city.

The police from Vyalikaval and Rajagopal Nagar in Bengaluru have sought public help in order to find them. In the first incident, 16-year-old Punita, mysteriously went missing after she attended the Gangammadevi Karaga on June 12 in Bengaluru.

According to the girl's family, Punita had gone to the procession along with her aunt, Dharneshwari. While returning home around 9 pm, the girl allegedly told her aunt that she wanted to go to a nearby store and asked her to continue without her.

However, the girl has not returned home since then. The Vyalikaval police said that the girl has a tattoo on her right hand with the name 'Varuna' on it.

In yet another incident in Vyalikaval, a class 9 student, Radhika, went missing after she stepped out of her elder sister's house around 2:30 pm on June 19.

The police said that the girl knows Kannada, Tamil and Hindi languages. Similarly in Rajagopal Nagar, a 16-year-old girl went missing from her house in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Laggere.

According to the police, Nethravathi went out around 6 pm on June 10. The police requested the public to alert the control room if any one has any information pertaining to the missing girls.
