MLA holds five-day job creation event in Mysuru

Mysuru: As part of ‘Modi Yuga Utsav’, Mysuru Krishnaraja MLA S.A. Ramdas has organized a five-day ‘job creation’ programme from Tuesday by involving various departments.
Ramdas told News Trail that around a dozen departments belonging to both the state and union governments will participate in this novel programme organized as part of ‘Modi Yuva Utsav’. Those who have passed eighth standard and completed professional and degree courses and students who have discontinued their education after SSLC and are looking for small jobs in the unorganized sector, would be given priority.
Firstly, the job aspirants need to go around the exhibition stalls of various departments and fill in the application form for jobs that suit them. The application form will have details of training as well as job creation programmes. Subsequently, interested candidates would be trained by the Department of Skill Development and would be provided monetary, market and education assistance. After the completion of training, candidates would be interviewed at the work spot and eligible candidates would be appointed.
The MLA said State Bank of India and Canara Bank will offer financial assistance to candidates who wish to take self-employment or jobs in the state and union government departments.
